Basaha Saving and Credit Cooperative Limited (BSCCL) established on the basis of cooperative principles for the purpose of attaining savings and credit transactions of people having limited income. Global liberal economic policy, which has affected economic structure of Nepal, has been focusing joint venture rather than individual efforts. This organization promises for accountability of capital and investment of its members and transparency of financial and managerial activities to enhance the financial status of its members. It expects full support to the members through the cooperative means who has been excluded from major support of well developed financial institution and banking activities.
BSCCL has been registered in Office of Cooperative Division Kathmandu, Department of Cooperative, Agriculture and Cooperative Ministry under section 5 of Cooperative Act 2000 on 2064/12/21 (03 April 2008). Scope of BSCCL is to carry on financial activities. This organization has been affiliated to Kathmandu District Saving and Credit Cooperative Ltd.
